Tips and Tricks
- Use Sturdy Cups: Paper cups or clear plastic tumblers work best—just make sure they’re wide enough to hold skewers and pretzels upright. I usually get my kraft paper cups from Amazon.
 - Anchor with Popcorn: Fill the cups at least ¼ full before adding larger items—this helps skewers and pretzels stay in place.
 - Mix Textures & Colors: Balance crunchy, chewy, sweet and savory for the best snacking variety.
 - Add Seasonal Touches: Add some fun Halloween stickers to your cups, or toss in candy corn, gummy worms, etc. for extra Halloween flair.

Making Ahead and Storing
- Make Ahead: You can prep the mummy pretzels 1–2 days in advance and store them in airtight containers at room temperature. Donut hole eyeballs can be made 3-4 hours ahead.
 - Assemble the Day Of: For best freshness, build the cups the morning or afternoon of your party. You don’t want the popcorn or donuts to get stale or soggy.
 - Short-Term Storage: Once assembled, cover the cups lightly with plastic wrap or place them in a large container with a lid. Keep refrigerated until serving.
 - Serving Window: These cups taste best within 4-6 hours of assembly. After that, popcorn may soften and donuts may lose their texture.
 - Leftovers: Remove any candy and pretzels and store separately. Grapes and cheese can be refrigerated for 1–2 days. Donut holes are best enjoyed the same day.

Variations and Fun Twists
- Witch Hat Pretzels: Use Bugles dipped in chocolate and placed on mini cookies to tuck into the cups.
 - Bloody Popcorn: Drizzle white popcorn with red candy melts or red-colored white chocolate for an extra creepy vibe
 - Gummy Add-Ins: Worms crawling out of the popcorn or vampire fangs peeking from the cups add instant kid-approved spookiness.
 - Cheese Shapes: Use small cookie cutters to cut cheese into pumpkins, bats, or ghosts.
